C.E. “Ed” Cole, 85, of Borger, passed away, Tuesday, March 28, 2012.
Clinie Edward Cole was born Saturday, September 25, 1926 in Tahlequah, OK to Orlando and Henrietta (Cupp) Cole. He was a supervisor and plant manager at Phillips Philblack plant. Mr. Cole also volunteered at Golden Plains Community Hospital for twenty years and was a volunteer for HutchCares. Ed Cole married Dortha Faye Morrison on April 1, 1963 at First Baptist Church in Borger, TX. Mr. Cole served his country in WWII and Korea as a member of the United States Army where he received a Purple Heart and a Silver Star.
