Borger resident Hugh Cantrell died suddenly in Sandy, Ore., while on vacation visiting his family. He was 78.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Oaks Nazarene Church in Duncan, Okla. Private inurnment will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Crawford Omar "C.O." Holloway, 86, of Amarillo, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Paramount Baptist Church with Lance Herrington, associate pastor officiating. Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Kenneth Rannals, 64, of Stinnett, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 in Amarillo.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Riverview Baptist Church with his son Kenny Rannals of Ft Worth, and Rev. Jimmy Gillmore, Pastor of Riverview Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Clara Maxine Rook, 92, of Borger, died Friday Nov. 2, 2012, in Borger.
No services will be set. Cremation was under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Loraine Ann Carter, 85, of Fritch, TX passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012.
Loraine Ann (Dickerson) Carter was born Friday, October 21, 1927 in Duke, Ok to Jessie and Vera (McCutcheon) Dickerson. She married Virgil Carter on April 13, 1946 in Courtside, AZ. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Don Carter.
BOSWELL, OK - W.O. â€śCottonâ€ť Dawson, 84, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, in Boswell, OK.
William Oliver â€śCottonâ€ť Dawson was born May 29, 1928 in Tupelo, MS, the son of James William Roy Lee Dawson and Estelle (Oliver) Dawson. He had lived most of his life in Borger, TX but had spent the last four years with his son in Sunkist, OK.
Cotton was an United States Army veteran who served during World War II. He enjoyed working and remodeling his children and grandchildrenâ€™s houses. He made cabinets and gun cabinets. He also worked laying foundations and could build a house from the foundation up.
Katrina Ann â€śKatieâ€ť McQuary, 68, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, in Wichita, Kan.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch with Pastor Calvin Winters, officiating.
Interment will follow at Panhandle Cemetery in Panhandle under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
Katie was an Operator and Warehouseman for Phillips Petroleum Co. and was a lifetime resident of this area. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch and the Sunshine Senior Citizens of Fritch. She loved Bingo, Painting and Crocheting.
FRITCH - Lula â€śFayeâ€ť Andrews, 84, of Fritch, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, in Amarillo.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at the Broadway Baptist Church in Fritch with Rev. Bill Browning, Pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. at the Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
