Area weather spotters received training from the National Weather Service on May 5.
Everyone enjoyed the Altrusa Craft Show at the Aluminum Dome on Saturday and Sunday. Painting at one booth was a big hit with the kids.
Borger Youth Advisory Council Members attended the Borger City Council Meeting on Tuesday, March 3. They told the Council about their recent trip to Austin and thanked the Council for all their help.
These girls are awesome and they sold over 7000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies as a troop. Great job!
Fourth grade Book Munchers at Crockett School in Borger meet once a week to discuss their favorite book. Awesome kids!
Edith Guynes Stanley of Borger celebrates her 75th birthday on Saturday, Feb. 28 with an "Unselfish Birthday Party" at the First United Methodist Church in Borger. Stanley is asking for donations to the McCurdy School in Espanola, New Mexico instead of gifts for herself.
Cub Scout Pack 565's Blue and Gold Banquet was held on Saturday, Feb 21. The evening was truly inspiring and the scouts and their leaders are to be commended for their dedication and service. Great Job!

Borger High School students were able to learn about job opportunities and area colleges on Thursday night during Borger High School's College and Career Night. Over 400 students attended the event within the first hour and eighteen minutes, according to Borger High School Associate Principal Dede Conaway. Conaway commented, the event was a "huge success".
