The Borger News Herald will be handing out School Supplies starting on Tuesday until we run out to those families that are needing a little help this school year.

The department of public safety told us a Borger man 72 yr old Albert Dwain Botsford was killed in a single car rollover last night just east of mile marker 338.
Officials believe weather conditions and unsafe speed may have been a factor as Botsford lost control of his pick-up and rolled multiple times.
Reports show, the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Borger News Herald, Anytime Fitness and Wal-Mart are teaming up to host a 5k run this weekend to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network, and to purchase school supplies for kids whose families are feeling the pinch this back-to-school season.
Six of the Actors from the Musical "Texas" were in an automobile accident on Monday evening. The victims killed in the wreck were identified by the DPS as Clinton Diaz of Amarillo; Andrew Duncan of Wichita Falls; Amanda Starz of Timonium, Md.; Julian Arredondo of Haltom; and Eric Harrison of Fort Worth. Injured in the accident was Timothy Johnson of Portland, Ore., and the truck driver, Theron Arthur McSay of Fort Collins, Colo. the cast members were driving back from the annual end-of-summer cast party south of Dumas. Alcohol may have been a factor, according to the DPS statement.
Senator Kel Seliger touched on several topics at the Borger Town Hall meeting.
On a routine traffic stop Travis Wayne Gossett, from Mullin, Texas, was pulled over. He as later arrested and taken to jail for violation of probation.
