The Fritch City Council Meeting on Wednesday night was a little heated at times as citizens of Fritch voiced many complaints to the Council. The Council did accept the resignation of City Manager Bobby Lamb among much controversy over miss appropriations of city funds. Lamb had previously stated in May that the â€śmismanagement of the funds and the city's finance problems were caused by a former employeeâ€ť.

A plane that was enroute to Borger crashed in Roberts County early Tuesday morning, killing the pilot.
The plane, which was a Light Sport Alpha Trainer, was carrying pilot Donald Sharp of Greenfield, Ind., and Zachary Jenkins of Indianapolis, Ind. The plane crashed around 2 a.m. at Mesa Vista Ranch, which is approximately 27 miles north of Pampa in Roberts County.
