The Borger Police Department responded to a DWI wreck at 4 a.m. Sunday morning.
Dylan Miles Faulkner, 25, of Borger, was driving a Blue Honda Civic while intoxicated and wrecked on the 1000 block of West Wilson.
According to Assistant Police Chief Bruce Roberts, Faulkner was headed eastbound on Wilson. He lost control of his vehicle and struck a light post. There were no injuries reported.
Faulkner was arrested at the scene and sent to the County Jail.
Hutchinson County High School Seniors, the Vietnam Veterans of America, North Plains Chapter 404, Borger, Texas, wish to award a Hutchinson County Vietnam Veterans Memorial Scholarship to four (4) graduating seniors from any Hutchinson County High School, or home schooled graduating students from each district.

There is a system in place for area citizens that gives them the ability to be ready in the case of emergency.
The City of Borger has been part of the Panhandle Area Regional Information System (PARIS) since last year. This system, which is a mass notification system, has the ability to deliver an emergency or informational message by voice, e-mail, text message, fax, pager, or any combination of these.
