As the Hutchinson County Republican Women prepare to install officers for another year, they will also be welcoming a special speaker at their upcoming meeting.
Brigadier General L. Dale Hoover, Jr. will be the featured speaker at the HCRW Republican Rally and Installation of Officers, set for Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Dake’s Restaurant, located at 718 North Main in Borger.
A Meet and Greet will be held at 6:30 p.m. followed by the meeting at 7 p.m.

Chance Welch will continue to remain at the helm of the Borger Independent School District for the foreseeable future.
At its regular meeting Thursday evening, the Borger ISD board of trustees offered Welch a five-year contract that will run from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2018. The decision was made following an executive session.
Welch said he values the opportunity to continue his service to Borger ISD.
