A local family is in need of community support.
Shawn and Whitney Reeves were proud parents on Oct. 6, 2012, by giving birth to their daughter Sunni Nicole Reeves. Shortly after her birth, she was diagnosed with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia and has since gone through around seven surgeries.
According to Facebook, her parents found a medical institution in Houston to get Sunni the care she needs. Shawn and Whitney also have two small boys attending school, Ryder and Cooper, so they both travel back and forth to give their time and attention evenly to their children.
