The Hutchinson County is under a burn ban for the next 90 days.
According to Danny Richards, “ There is moisture in some areas, but there are still areas that are dry.”
Once the next Commissioners Court meeting is held, they will check the area conditions and decide to either rescind or extend the burn ban. “If we receive more moisture we will rescind the ban,” said Richards.
