Borger Summer Celebration set for tomorrow

June 14, 2012

The Borger Summer Celebration is set for tomorrow evening!
The event will be held from 5:30-9:30 p.m. tomorrow at Huber Park, and is being sponsored by the Borger Chamber of Commerce. ProNews 7 has tentative plans to be in attendance at the event.
The event will have a huge selection of booths to include games, food, prizes, and activities for children. Live entertainment will be provided by the Prairie Dogs.
There will also be a variety of vendors on hand for those attending the event. Those participating in the Borger Summer Celebration are as follows:

Xcel Energy shocks FPC with facts about electricity

June 14, 2012

Xcel Energy held its annual FFA Electric Workshop at FPC this week in the FPC ag building.
There were 21 area schools participating in this workshop.
The FFA Electric Workshop includes four main courses for the students – loaders, controls, wiring I and wiring II.
The workshops not only teach students the basics of electricity, but also teach the principles of electric safety.
