School Training held in Austin, Texas, Dec. 10-14, 2012.
The Newly Elected Sheriffs' School is held every four years after election time for new sheriffs and chief deputies, educating,
training, and preparing them for office. This year, participants received training on a variety of topics, including
Duties and Responsibilities of the Sheriff, Critical Policy Liabilities for Sheriffs, Inmate Transportation, Open Records,
