BCC hosting weekend Halloween party

The Borger Country Club is inviting area residents to its membership drive Halloween Party this Saturday.
Borger Country Club General Manager Becky Prather and the board of directors are hosting a “Phantom of the Opera” themed party in the BCC Ballroom from 7 p.m to midnight.
There will be a live DJ from Amarillo, appetizers, and a dance. During the event the BCC will offer half off membership fees for the first year. The entrance fee is $20 a couple. It is not required to dress in costume.

If there is one sentiment Congressman Mac Thornberry holds to, it’s that the United States must keep moving forward.
Thornberry stopped by the offices of the Borger News-Herald to offer his thoughts on various issues affecting the U.S. at the present time, as well as events that have been in the constant cycle of the media.
