LMNRA welcomes acting superintendent Darren Bryant to area

Fritch, TX - Deputy Regional Director Colin Campbell has announced that Darren E. Bryant has been selected for a 120-day detail as the acting superintendent of Lake Meredith National Recreation Area and Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument in Fritch, Texas.
Bryant is currently the Chief of Facility Management at Guadalupe Mountains National Park, and will report to his new assignment on October 7.
“We are delighted to have Darren come to Lake Meredith,” said Rose Pollard, Acting Superintendent of Lake Meredith NRA and Alibates Flint Quarries NM.

Counterfeit couponers sought

Crime Stoppers and the Borger Police Department are seeking assistance in identifying two female subjects wanted for questioning in reference to the use of counterfeit coupons at a local supermarket in Borger.
On Thursday August 29th, 2012, two unidentified females purchased groceries at the United Supermarket in Borger. During their purchase, the two unidentified females used counterfeit coupons to obtain $887.92 worth of merchandise.
While inside the store one of the female subjects used a motorized cart.

Ingram sentenced to two years

On October 9th, a Hutchinson County Jury, of eight men and four women convicted Steven Dewayne Ingram, age 29 of Borger, for Possession of Methamphetamine, less than one gram.
The offence occurred on November 19th, 2010 in Borger.
Ingram was originally granted a Court appointed attorney to represent him on the charges but he denied that assistance and told the Court he would represent himself.
