Fritch City Council gathered for a regularly scheduled meeting at 509 West Broadway on August 23, 2011 at 7 p.m.
After opening comments from Nancy Bruce who asked that Hillside Drive be repaired, three young Fritch citizens, Logan Barter, Zane Mullins, and Caleb McClure, approached the council with the idea of bringing a skate park to Fritch.
The young men said they are planning on applying for grants to help fund the skate park.
Logan stated, “If we get this skate park, we would like to name it Jerry McClure Memorial Skate Park.”
