For the past month the top headline on the major television networks has focused on our national lawmakers trying to reach a deal on the nationâ€™s debt ceiling by an August 2nd deadline.
Many of us probably never heard the term â€śdebt ceilingâ€ť prior to the debate in Washington D.C this summer. However, if an increase in the limit is not given to Congress then borrowed funds would not be there to pay bills potentially causing the United States to default on its debit obligations.
The Borger City Council has signed off on legal documents that will help the construction of a new apartment building move forward.
During its regular meeting Tuesday, the council acted on legal documents between the Borger Tenth Street Apartments and the City of Borger pertaining to the 900 block of Brain Street.
These documents include the full release of an easement in essence and a parking covenant agreement and reservation, along with the grant of an easement.
