The Borger Bulldogs beat Bushland in extra innings this past weekend to finish second in the district standings behind Bushland heading into the playoffs.

The Borger Lady Bulldogs softball team head to Lubbock tomorrow to take on Big Spring in their bi-district playoff game. The will be at Lowrey Field on the Monterey High School campus and it starts at 6:30 p.m.

The Borger Bulldogs baseball team will conclude their district play Saturday here in Borger against Bushland. Saturday will also be Senior Day and it begins at 10:30 am before the varsity game at noon. The junior varsity will play at 2:30 pm, and the freshmen will play at 5 pm.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) today announced the arrest of a Borger woman for allegedly sexually asssaulting a child. The Texas Rangers arrested Corisa Tosh, 41, after conducting an investigation into the alleged assault in 2009. The Rangers began investigating after being notified by the Borger Police Department. Tosh is a former police officer, and the alleged assault occurred prior to her employment as a Borger police officer. Tosh was booked into the Hutchinson OCunty Jail for sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony.
