Janet Dale Sutton Lowe, 66 of Ponca City, OK, was born in Hydro, Oklahoma on May 25, 1945 and died on July 3, 2011 in Ponca City, OK.
She was a teacher in Oklahoma and Texas for 25 years, teaching Jr. High and HS Math as well as English. Janet was also a Social Worker in Oklahoma for 15 years.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Charles Ruell Lowe, her brother, Ronald Sutton and her parents Neil and Thelma Sutton
The Stinnett Police Department is currently investigating a case of identity theft.
Stinnett Chief of Police Marie Farbro stated that she and other officers have collected a video from the Borger Dollar General of a suspect forging his signature for purchased items that were initially bought on May 27, 2011.
He has also committed the same crime in McDonaldâ€™s and Stinnett Allsups, for a combined total of $191.86.
Farbro said that the victim randomly checks his account on the internet, and he realized someone was using his ATM/debit card.
Local veterans are encouraged to come out to the Borger Summer Celebration next Thursday to visit the Mobile Vet Center, which will be making a visit to the event.
The vet center will be on site at Huber Park from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011, during the celebration festivities.
The center is open to all veterans, their families, and the general public. The centerâ€™s visit is being sponsored by the Amarillo Vet Center, located on Olsen Boulevard in Amarillo.

Over the past weekend, the Borger 11&12 year old Little League Girls Softball All-Star team won the district championship in a clean sweep, defeating Childress on Thursday 19-14 and Memphis on Saturday 20-12.
In Saturdayâ€™s Championship game, pitcher Makenzie May had 12 strikeouts in five innings of work with Maegan Stone closing the game by getting a runner out at home.
The team is coached by Steven Willis and Cindy Willis and advanced to Sectionals to be held in Lubbock.

Mildred Lorene Barker Tomlinson, 91, died July 4, 2011 in Dewey, OK.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 7 at Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville, OK, with Reverend Craig Stinson officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Shannon Rhenee Bricker, age 40 and a resident of Highland Village, TX. Born on October 4, 1970 in Borger, TX. Passed away on July 3, 2011 in Canton, TX with her husband Bruce in a motorcycle accident.
Shannon was a graduate of Lonegrove High School in 1990 and Shannon and Bruce were married on Oct. 11, 2001.
Shannon is survived by her daughter, Abygail Rhenee Benson and her mother, Patricia Virden and her husband Samuel, her father, Danny Ballard and his wife Cathy.
Ivan Wyllys Hull, M.D., 84, of Waco died Monday afternoon, July 4, 2011, in Providence Medical Center. A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 6, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room with the Rev. Jim Coston officiating. Family visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey.
Officials are still investigating a car explosion that occurred last Thursday in Stinnett.
In the early morning hours of Thursday, June 30, 2011, local Stinnett resident Jeff Irvin suffered second degree burns while trying to extinguish his burning vehicle, with the vehicle suddenly exploding.
Irvin was transported to the Lubbock Burn Unit and was later released the same day around noon.
Stinnett Police and Fire Marshal Danny Richards suspect arson is involved with this case.
