Dona Blanche Burgess

January 27, 2014

This tribute recognizes a quiet hero, our precious mama
and nanny, Dona Blanche Burgess, who passed on to glory
to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, January 2,
2014, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Blanche and her husband Leonard, who preceded her
in death on January 14, 1984, were long-time residents of
Hutchinson County. They were married July 28, 1941.
Leonard served under Patton in World War II. When
the war finally ended, Blanche and Leonard rode a 1936
Harley from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to Dumas, Texas.

Leroy E. DeAguero

January 24, 2014

Leroy E. DeAguero, 63, of Stinnett died Saturday, January 4, 2014 in Stinnett.
Leroy was born in Springer, NM on April 1, 1950. He moved to Stinnett in 1994. Leroy
worked for Rice Construction for seven years. He will be missed.
He is survived by his companion Rita Maxine Klotz, of Stinnett; and son Paul Joe of Pasadena.

Wanda Fay Purvis

Wanda Fay Purvis, 86, went to be with her
Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 22, 2014.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Saturday, January 25,
2014 in the Minton Memorial Chapel under the direction
of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu
of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to the
American Diabetes Association, 8008 Slide Road, Suite
12-A, Lubbock, Texas, 79424 or the Wounded Warrior
Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
Wanda was born May 7, 1927 in Oklahoma to Memory
Obie and Floy Mae Harkins. She was a member of Cadet

Naomi Lee Wright

Naomi Lee Wright, 81, passed away Wednesday,
January 22, 2014.
Funeral service will be 10 am Saturday, January 25, 2014
in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Westlawn
Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell
Funeral Directors of Borger.
Naomi was born July 8, 1932 in Eldorado, Oklahoma
to WC and Margie Caldwell. Her life revolved around her
grandkids. She would travel all over to be with her grandkids
her favorite thing was to take them fishing. Naomi was always
up for going to garage sales.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Troy Lee

Naomi Lee Wright, 81, passed away Wednesday,
January 22, 2014.

Vicki L. Baker

Vicki L. Baker, 65, of Weatherford, TX, passed
away, Sunday, January 19, 2014 in Fort Worth, TX.
Vicki L. Baker was born February 23, 1948 in Borger to
Kenneth and Juanita (Knight) Bell. She was retired from the
Federal Government in the Criminal Justice Department.
Mrs. Baker is preceded in death by her father Kenneth
Bell.
Survivors include a son David Aaron and wife Chesley
Baker of Fayetteville, NC, daughter Amy Lynn and husband
Christopher Bonnett of Weatherford, TX, mother Juanita Bell
of Midland, brother Ken R. and wife Becky Bell of Amarillo,
