Ronnie Gene Holliday, 67, of Stinnett died Monday in Stinnett. No services will be set. Cremation was under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Ronnie was born April 24, 1946 in Borger to Clifford and Leta Holliday. He was a mechanic and lived in Stinnett. He is survived by his brothers Carl of Stinnett and Jimmy of Bakersfield, California.

Lois Ruth Karber, 84 of Fritch died Saturday August 17th in Borger. Funeral services will be 11:30 am Tuesday August 20th at First Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Calvin Winters officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

The department of public safety told us a Borger man 72 yr old Albert Dwain Botsford was killed in a single car rollover last night just east of mile marker 338.
Officials believe weather conditions and unsafe speed may have been a factor as Botsford lost control of his pick-up and rolled multiple times.
Reports show, the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Borger News Herald, Anytime Fitness and Wal-Mart are teaming up to host a 5k run this weekend to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network, and to purchase school supplies for kids whose families are feeling the pinch this back-to-school season.
