Both Frank Phillips teams fell to New Mexico Junior College on Monday night.
The ladies lost 64-58. Honesty Sullivan was the leading scorer with 16, and Cheyenne Swoopes added 11.
The men lost 82-60 to a two loss NMJC team. Greg Nelson was the leading scorer with 15. Earl Hill and Alex Zivkovic each had 9.

Borger police arrested Charles Colby Griffin, 25, on Jan. 15, 2013 for for Delivery of a Controlled Substance; Methamphetamines; in an amount Greater than Four Grams but Less than Two Hundred Grams, which is a Felony of the First Degree. The Felony can and may result in a Punishment by Imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Prison System for Life or any term not more than 99 years or less than 5 years, as well as a fine not to exceed $10,000.00.

Our loving, merciful Jesus the Christ welcomed his faithful servant Domingo Elizardo Hernandez, 78, to his celestial home on Friday, January 18, 2013, at 11:25 PM.Â He was surrounded by his daughters just as he had always faithfully surrounded them in person or in fervent, faithful prayer.
Internment will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday January 22.
Celebration of Life Service will be at 3:30 PM, Tuesday, January 22 at First Baptist Chapel, Borger with his Pastor Josias Limones officiating.
Maxine Tisdale, 92, died January 17, 2013 in Greenville, Texas. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew United Methodist Church with Pastor John Westman officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
From Coach Grider: I would like to invite everyone to come to the Our Space Room in the BCAC at noon on Monday, January 21st, to join the softball staff and current players in welcoming one of our 2013 recruits, Lesa Mackenzie Murphy, as she signs her National Letter of Intent to play softball and attend Frank Phillips College starting next fall. I realize that this is Martin Luther King Day and that many of you may have long weekend plans but it is a special day for this young lady, and if you happen to be in Borger please come out and join us in welcoming her into the family. The Coffee Memorial Blood Center reported 104 donations from the Borger Community Blood Drive held Thursday at the Union Hall in Borger.

A funeral service with full military honors for Captain Gary W. Yoder II â€śGIIâ€ť, 33, of Fort Polk Lousiana, formerly of Lamesa, will be held on Saturday January 19th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lamesa with Larry Allison and Brian Pinkerton officiating. Burial will follow in Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Branon Funeral Home with a 21-gun salute during the ceremony. Visitation will be held on Friday January 18th, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home. Viewing will be open to the public on Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
