Oil Rig Explosion North of Stinnett

Hutchinson County Fire Marshal Danny Richards has informed the Borger News-Herald that fire crews are en route to an explosion and fire on an oil rig north of Stinnett on the Turkey Track Ranch.

A grass fire has broken out and one vehicle is in flames. As of 4:15 fire crews were a quarter mile from the blaze.

More details as the story develops.

The well has been capped and the remaining flames are consuming two oil field vehicles and grass in the area. First report is that there have been no injuries. Crews remain on site to deal with remaining fires.

Allen Grady Ingram, Jr., 86, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013
Graveside service will be 11 am Friday, November 8, 2013 in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Allen was born October 11, 1927 in Clarita, Oklahoma to Allen and Annie Belle Ingram. He could fix anything. Allen loved fishing, hunting, telling stories and had a great sense of humor. He loved his God, children and grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Hank, Leroy, Harrison and LeeAllen Ingram.

Margaret Irene Loyd Burns

Margaret Irene Loyd Burns was born on August 1, 1923. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 6, 2013.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Lloyd Burns of Amarillo. She is also survived by sons Ray (Donnell) Burns of Houston, David (Cindy) Burns of Amarillo, Marvin (Becky) Burns of San Antonio and a sister, Alice Kirk of Redondo Beach, California.
She was preceded in death by her son Richard Burns, her parents Roland and Bessie Loyd, brothers Kenneth, Lewis, Donald, and David and sisters Mary Louise Loyd and Geneva Loyd Lindsey.

Nita June Ausbrooks, 72, of Fritch died Monday, November 2, 2013 in her home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday November 9, at the Bunavista Baptist Church, Borger, with Danny Courtney, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Fritch officiating and Connie Moore, pastor of Bunavista Baptist Church assisting. There will be a family visitation at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
