Lady Eagles get handed tough loss against Spearman

February 1, 2012

Tuesday evening, the Sanford-Fritch Lady Eagles met a tough, ready-to-play Spearman Lynxxettes team at home for a shot tying in first place for district.
But the Lynxxettes weren’t having any of that, from start of the game. The momentum was never in the Lady Eagles favor, starting off trailing after quick 6-0 Spearman run. S
pearman controlled the boards, effectively, which kept Sanford-Fritch from any second shots. A couple of sparks led by Christa White and Jacy Judd wouldn’t be enough to turn the game.
First quarter ended with Sanford-Fritch trailing, 9-16.
