Funeral services for James M. â€śJimâ€ť Ormsby, 86, who died July 10, 2012 in Plainview will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the 1st United Methodist Church in Borger with Rev. Don Boren, District Supervisor of Abilene and Rev. Johnny Robertson, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Plans are underway for a new medical office building that will be located close to the new Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Dennis Jack, CEO of GPCH, said plans are to construct an 9,200 square foot building that will house four doctors, the General Surgeon, the Orthopedic Surgeon, the Internal Medicine Doctor and the OB/GYN, in separate areas, as well as the Golden Plains Rural Health Clinic. The hospital is also considering installing dialysis services in the new clinic if it can be determined the need is sufficient in the county.
