Diana Hooks, 54, of Stinnett, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 8, 2012 in the home of her twin sister, Deana.
Janice Marie Blain, 69, passed away on July 6, 2012, in South Fork, Colo. Janice was born March 15, 1943, in Sherman, Texas, to T.B. And Clara B. (Woodruff) Stephens.
Janice was a homemaker who enjoyed bird watching on her front porch, music, and reading.
Janice is preceded in death by her father T.B. Stephens, her mother Clara B. (Woodruff) Stephens, and her husband Kenneth Rhea Blain.

The seal coating of streets in the Isom Addition is set to begin on July 12.
Doug Tipton, who is the Street Superintendent for the City of Borger, said this program is used to extend the life of street pavement.
“We try to seal each street every five years, but we fell way behind in the past and we are trying to catch up,” he said.
In order to make the program work as successfully as it can, Tipton said it is important that people keep their vehicles off the street during the application of the asphalt and rock.

The Canadian River Municipal Water Authority Board of Directors will meet this Wednesday.
The meeting will be held via teleconference beginning at 10:30 a.m. July 11, 2012.
The announcement of the new director appointment will take place, along with the announcement of committee appointments.
The board will act on meeting minute approval from April 11, 2012, and the payment of director’s expenses since that time.
Financial information will be reviewed, which includes financial statements and the investment summary.
