The Tri-City Concert Association is the recipient of one of several grants being given by the Xcel Energy Foundation.
The amount of the grant being received by the association is $1,000, and will go toward the presentation of a concert by Robert Post, a comedian/actor/puppeteer/ventriloquist to approximately 500 students in third through fifth grades in the Borger Independent School District.
The concert, which is being sponsored by the association, has the goal of enhancing the students' appreciation of the visual/dramatic arts.
Two new faces have joined the Borger community, bringing with them smiles and service to anyone in need of short term rehabilitation, long term care, or just some good food to share!
We need to welcome Scott and Londa Franklin!
Scott is heading the team at the newest rehabilitation facility presently being built on the corner of Roosevelt Street and College Avenue. Caprock Nursing and Rehab will proudly open its doors in February 2013.
Scott Franklin, the administrator who plans to open this state-of-the-art facility, was raised in central Texas, and lived in Amarillo for 15 years.
