The City of Stinnett council will meet tonight at 6 p.m. at Stinnett City Hall, 609 Mackenzie.

Living Water Ministries is doing all they can to bring children of the Hutchinson County a wonderful Christmas this year.
Living Water's â€śChristmas for kidsâ€ť program lets citizens â€śadoptâ€ť a child by giving a small donation of $25 or more , which will go towards a gift for a child in need. This year LWM is using any donations they receive to buy Christmas gifts for 80 children. According to the assistant Director Selena McClellan, they will be buying for boys and girls ages birth through 15 years old.
The City of Borger has approved an interlocal agreement with Hutchinson County for the demolition of structures outside of city limits.
The agreement was approved by the Borger City Council at its regular meeting Monday. Under the terms of the agreement, the council approved action for staff to review the costs of such demolitions and make adjustments as necessary.

Debi said that when she and Carl retired, they chose to stay in Borger. Their daughter had chosen to stay here to raise her boys in a small town atmosphere.
Velma Attebery Simpkins, 81, of Borger, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, in Borger.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at the Bunavista Baptist Church with Conny Moore of Borger officiating, and Tommy Batson of Stinnett assisting. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A Fritch home was fully engulfed in flames due to an explosion.
On Monday, evening, a manufactured mobile home on the 200 block of Chisum Trail in Fritch was claimed as a total loss due to the extreme amount of damages caused by fire. Fritch Fire Department received the 911 call around 4:40 p.m.
Upon arrival, the Fritch FD requested help from the Hutchinson County Fire Department, Fritch Police Department and Fritch EMS.
According to Hutchinson County Fire Marshal Danny Richards, witnesses reported an explosion, which explained the blown-out windows.
Credit and debit card abuse is on the rise in this area.
Lt. Anthony Griffin of the Borger Police Department said that during the last part of November into the first part of this month, the department has received a large number of reports from financial institutions, as well as individuals, regarding credit card and debit card abuse.
â€śThese cases are primarily occurring within the United States, with charges being made by illegally obtained credit/debit card numbers, all across the United States,â€ť he said.
Paula Ann Howard Schaffer, 63, passed away on November 30, 2012 surrounded by family.

Paula was born February 28, 1949 in Borger, Tx.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Allen â€śBudâ€ť Howard and mother, Luvinia â€śGeeâ€ť Howard.
Pamela Janice Russell, 51, of Borger, died Friday, Nov. 30, 201,2 in Borger.
A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the Church of Christ at Borger with Mr. Denny Sneed officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
