Crawford Omar "C.O." Holloway, 86, of Amarillo, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Paramount Baptist Church with Lance Herrington, associate pastor officiating. Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Borger gains a new 501C3 organization.
This Saturday local citizens and officials will celebrate the coming of Bikers Aginst Child Abuse (B.A.C.A.) at Dakes from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., where B.A.C.A High Plains Chapter will receive its full charter.
According to the B.A.C.A. High Plains Chapter president Ray "Sugar" Eller, B.A.C.A began to form last August. In the past year they have ridden their bikes on several trips around Texas receiving training from legal, medical and physiological professionals in the proper manner of dealing with abused children and abuse cases.

The Fritch Fire Department responded to a large structure fire Wednesday morning.
According to Hutchinson County Fire Marshal Danny Richards, a 911 call came in at 9:45 a.m. yesterday saying a home on the 300 block of Fritch Drive was on fire.
