Betty Earline Harbison, 63, of Fritch, passed away, Friday, November 16, 2012 in Borger, TX.
Earline was born December 10, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Samuel Earl and Betty Jo (Jackson) Hardcastle. She married Rick Harbison on December 9, 1968 in Borger. She was a housewife and a charter member of the Fairlanes Baptist Church in Borger, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents Samuel Earl and Betty Jo Hardcastle and step father Lester Goswick.

Hutchinson County Museum is presenting a new exhibit. This exhibit features handmade Christmas cards by kids. Kids of all ages are invited to create 8 ½” x 11” Christmas cards that will be displayed at the museum through the month of December. The art needs to be 8 1/2” x 11” on any type material. Artists are asked to put their name, age and school on the front of the greeting. Art work needs to be at the museum by Nov. 26 and can be dropped off or a staff member will make arrangements to pick it up.

Help stuff a stocking for a soldier this Christmas season.
Borger InterBank has begun its annual “Stocking For Soldiers” for drive to collect items for soldiers overseas. The bank will be collecting these items through mid-December. Items can be dropped off at the bank, Jim's Diamond Shop, and Bennigan's.

The Borger Lady Bulldogs hosted their county competitor, the Sanford Fritch Lady Eagles in a Monday night matchup on the hardwood. It was tied after the first quarter, but the Lady Eagles would pull ahead until the end of the 4th, when Borger tried to crawl back in it. Fritch prevails and wins this one 62-58.
