On Thursday afternoon, Borger ISD Athletic Director Rusty Purser confirmed that Michael Littlejohn has been put on paid administrative leave with the school district.
At this time, Purser declined to give details for the administrative leave other than to say that the school district is conducting an investigation into allegations brought against Littlejohn.
Over the past week, several of the parents of players in the Borger volleyball program have approached school officials over concerns related to the coach.
The Borger Police Department has made an arrest in conjunction with a recent robbery incident.
On Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, the BPD responded to an aggravated robbery that occurred at the intersection of Crockett Street and McGee Street.
The incident began when the victim, a female who was 71 years of age, agreed to give the suspect a ride after he assisted her with loading items she had purchased from a local garage sale into her vehicle.
Once at the intersection of Crockett Street and McGee Street, the suspect used physical force to obtain the victim’s purse from her.
