Tuesday afternoon Frank Phillips College received a piece of great news in being listed as one of the best colleges in the nation to work for according to a survey conducted by “The Chronicle of Higher Education.”
The honors didn’t stop there as FPC also was listed in The Chronicle’s Honor Roll as one of the top twelve community colleges in the nation.
The results were based on a survey of nearly 44,000 employees at over 300 colleges and universities throughout the United States.

The Borger police department responded to a vehicle fire in the 200 Block of North Harvey Street. The fire was reported on the morning of Wednesday July 13th, 2011, at approximately 4:30am. After the fire was announced contained the emergency response team located a burnt rag that was located hanging from the vehicles gas tank opening. This incidence led Borger officers to investigate it as arson.
