STINNETT - Dolores Ann Stover Wilkinson, 57, died Monday, July 11, 2011, in Borger.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Willie Adams of Eternal Light Church officiating. Interment will be in “The Garden of Devotion” at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Oliver L. Gray, Jr., 68, of Grand Junction, Colo., died Sunday at his home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Church of Christ at Borger with Mr. Denny Sneed, Minister, officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger.
O. L. was a self-employed contractor in the construction business in Borger and had lived here for 43 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his son Mike, his parents O. L., Sr. and Vivian Gray and his sister Betty Porter.
On Monday evening, the citizens of Stinnett came together to address several concerns regarding the Stinnett police department.
Local citizen and police officer EC Garza spoke at the Stinnett City Council’s regular meeting in the Stinnett City Hal1. Garza said, “There have been allegations that I’m not working, that I don’t do my job, that a lot of people complain and from what I’ve seen, a lot of people are complaining that I’m not out right now.”
The Borger ISD board is set to meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011, in the board conference room of the BISD Administration Building, 200 East Ninth.
Following roll call, the board will consider action on a complaint from Jimmy and Darasha regarding an attendance committee decision, subject to Texas Government Codes 551.071 and 551.082.
