Heston Cooper, 76, of Borger, passed away, Wednesday, May 4, 2011.
Heston Coy Cooper was born Monday, May 28, 1934 in Colony, OK. He married Verna Mae Tackett on December 13, 1973 in Pampa, TX. He was a truck driver.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Lynn Cooper of Borger, TX, Coy Cooper and wife Kim of Willow, OK and Jerry Cooper of Amarillo, TX; his brother, Douglas Cooper of Maine; his sister, Naomi Pawley of Lawton, OK; and ten grandchildren.
Service will be held at a later date.
AMARILLO - Margaret Rose Howard, age 86, of Amarillo, died Sunday May 1, 2011.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011, in Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel with Dr. Winfred Moore, Pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be 1:30 P.M. Saturday, May 7, 2011, in Westlawn Cemetery, Borger, Texas. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
The International Coin Collectors Association will be in Borger from May 9-14 from 9am till 6pm and 9am till 4pm on Saturday at the AmericInn Lodge & Suites of Borger, 900 E. 3rd.
They will be coming to Borger in the search of the â€śmost rare coins in worldâ€ť.
The collectors are hoping to see items such as coins and paper currency issued prior to 1965 and gold items including class rings, mismatched earrings, broken necklaces, gold coins and bullion.

Those can be just a couple of the words used to describe the Borger brother and sister team of Abbie and Josh Madden when they step onto the tennis court in mixed-doubles competition.
Neither player displays the over aggressive personality of being outspoken or outwardly displaying a lot of emotion on the court that fans have seen over the years. Such behavior has been seen from tennis players such as the Williams sisters, John McEnroe or Jimmy Conners.
