PANHANDLE-Perhaps due to the cold weather, on Tuesday night the Borger Bulldogs and Panhandle Panthers both struggled offensively and combined for 51 turnovers in Panther Gym in Panhandle.
Despite the turnovers and shooting woes, the Bulldogs were in a position to win the game by holding a 29-28 lead with 40 seconds to go.
Unfortunately, the Panthers got the breaks they needed in the final seconds to score the go ahead basket with four seconds on the clock in their 30-29 win.

December 7, 2011

PANHANDLE-On Tuesday evening, the Borger Lady Bulldogs struggled to get their offense going in their 64-26 loss to the Panhandle Pantherettes.
The Lady Bulldogs shot just 26% against Panhandle and couldn’t make up for it on the boards with Panhandle doing a solid job boxing out for rebounds the whole game.
A pass from McKenzie Loftis to Emma Wood put the Lady Bulldogs on the scoreboard early. However, Panhandle opened the first period by going on a 17-2 run.
