Have you ever found yourself sitting up late at night cutting out squares for your quilt by hand? Or maybe you have had to cut out hearts for your child's Valentine's Day project. Well, you don't have to do that anymore! The Friends of the Hutchinson County Library organization has purchased a ACCUCUT Die Cut machine for the public to use at the Borger Branch of the Hutchinson County Library! This machine can cut any material from paper to fabric to cardboard to craft foam! The Friends of the Library organization has also purchased several die cuts to use with the machine.

The parade is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 5. Entry forms are available at the Chamber of Commerce office, located at 613 North Main in Borger.
All entries will need to be decorated in a holiday motif and are asked to depict the Christmas season.

Friday evening, the Borger Bulldogs running game and smothering defense had its way against the Perryton Rangers, resulting in a 32-14 win at Bulldog Stadium.
Borger senior Ty Brown used 36 carries to rush for 304 yards and four touchdowns, while the Rangers were held to just 160 yards of total offense.
The win allows the Bulldogs to finish District 1-3A play with a 3-0 record and gives the team a 10-1 district mark in three seasons Rusty Purser has been head coach. The Bulldogs have also won their third straight District 1-3A title.
It was simple last night for West Texas High. Win the ball game and earn the third place playoff sport in what is probably the toughest 1A District in the state, or lose and start basketball season. The Stratford Elks have been to the state playoffs since 1998, including some recent runner up finishes and a couple of State Titles. If memory serves me, the last time the Tribe has won against the Elks, was 2001. The Comanches handled their business 16-7. So, “How about them Comanches?”
